Quest system ready-ish


The last few weeks I went back to Pack once again and created a quest system: Missions have sequential milestones and milestones can have several required goals.

This gives me the base I need to start creating content that is not just creatures fighting. Instead reaching a place, healing a creature or talking with a creature can be goals that the game recognizes.

I am going to drop my programmer hat for a while and start creating content, which has always been difficult for me. Usually I have a lot of content ideas and fantasies that motivate me to start working on a project, but once I am knee deep in the code that motivation vanishes I dont know what to do with the systems I have created. Partially because this kind of game is very intrincate and I am always finding things that could be polished or just minor bugs.

I think I will let the game look and feel "trashy" at least for a while, while I create a small story and maybe 20-30 minutes of guided gameplay.
